Luppo Lapp hut

The Luppo Sami Hut is located 31.1 km east of Rovaniemi, in a beautiful spot on the shore of Luppojärvi, or Luppo Lake.
The log-built hut is equipped with a fireplace and bunks. There is a woodshed, outhouse and waste bin in the yard.

Directions: drive 2.6 km out of the Rovaniemi city centre along Sodankyläntie; turn right on Kuusamontie; drive 42.7 km; turn left on Vuoskujärventie; drive 3.9 km; turn left on the forest road; drive 7 km; turn left on the snowmobile trail to the lake shore; continue 200 m to the hut.

Paikka on hieno, mutta kulkijoiden ympäristöön jättämät roskat kertovat minkälaista väkeä kulkee luppokodalla. Kotaan oli tuotu vanhoja kosteita ja likaisia mattoja??? jätetty lavereille. tulipesäkin on osittain hajotettu.
